About the Project Lead:
LaRissa Rogers is a multidisciplinary artist who was named to the Forbes' 2024 “30 under 30” list in the Art and Style category and has been featured in The New York Times, Harper's Bazaar Japan, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, ARTnews, ARTSY, New American Paintings, Boston Art Review, and The Boston Globe.
Rogers received her Master of Fine Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Rogers is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor and Head of Sculpture at the University of Virginia.
